Pricing & Engagement Models

SymbioSoft is intentionally small. That lets me keep overhead low and focus on value instead of billable hours. Instead of rigid packages, we'll choose an engagement style that fits how your project wants to be built.

Most work falls into one of three buckets: fixed-scope project sprints, longer-running product partnerships, or lighter-weight advisory help. The ranges below are meant to give you a realistic starting point—your actual quote will be based on scope and complexity.

Typical ways to work together

Every project is quoted individually, but these ranges should help you see whether SymbioSoft is a good fit. If you're not sure where your idea lands, reach out anyway and we'll sort it out together.

Project sprints

Fixed-scope 2–4 week builds.

Great for a marketing site, a self-contained feature, or a first version of an internal tool.

  • Clear scope written up front
  • Fixed price for each sprint
  • Includes planning, build, and launch support

Typical investment: $4k – $9k per sprint

Product partnership

Ongoing monthly collaboration.

Best when you have a roadmap and want a part-time founding engineer to own delivery.

  • Reserved hours each month
  • Mix of new features, refactors, and support
  • Ideal for startups and small teams

Typical investment: $3k – $7k per month

Advisory & technical coaching

Lightweight engagement for guidance.

For teams that mostly need a senior engineer to review, advise, and unblock the work you’re already doing.

  • Blocks of 3–6 hours
  • Code reviews, architecture, and planning
  • Async Loom walkthroughs and written notes

Typical investment: $750 – $1.5k per package
